Each appointment is scheduled for a specific time and is generally intended to address one main medical concern.

This helps our physicians give proper attention to your health concern while also respecting the appointment times of other patients. If you have multiple issues to discuss, please let our team know when booking so we can advise on the best appointment option or schedule a follow-up visit.

Prescription Refills

To avoid running out of medication, please book an appointment for medication review or prescription renewal at least one week before your medication runs out.

Prescriptions are commonly renewed in three-month cycles, unless your physician determines that a different refill schedule is appropriate for your care.

You may also ask your pharmacy to fax a refill request to our office ahead of your appointment. Please note that some medications require a physician assessment before they can be renewed.

Some services are not covered by OHIP and may require a private fee. These may include, but are not limited to:

• Medical forms

• Sick notes or doctor’s letters

• Insurance forms

• Employment, school, or administrative documentation

• Other uninsured medical services

Our team will inform you of applicable fees before completing these services.

Please be advised that Dr. Ojay may use a secure recording or AI-assisted documentation tool during appointments to support accurate medical note-taking and record-keeping.

This tool is used to help improve documentation quality and allow the physician to focus more fully on patient care during the visit. Please speak with the physician or front desk team if you have any questions or concerns.

The clinic offers extended hours every Monday until 8:00 p.m.

Extended hours may also be available from Tuesday to Friday, depending on patient demand, physician availability, and clinic capacity.

Although the clinic may be open from approximately 8:45 a.m. to 6:45 p.m., our office phone lines are typically answered from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.

We do our best to see patients as close to their scheduled appointment time as possible. However, medical care can sometimes be unpredictable.

Some patients may require urgent attention or more complex care than originally expected, which can occasionally affect wait times. We appreciate your patience and understanding as our team works to provide every patient with the care they need.

If you have concerns about waiting, mobility needs, childcare constraints, or require any accommodation, please speak with the front desk team. Where possible, we will do our best to offer options or support.

If you are unable to attend your appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance.

Late cancellations or missed appointments may be subject to a $50 cancellation or no-show fee.

Providing notice allows us to offer the appointment time to another patient who may need care.

If you have completed blood work, imaging, or other medical investigations, please book an appointment to review your results with your physician.

Test results may take 1 to 2 weeks to be received and reviewed. In some cases, results may take longer depending on the type of test or the processing facility.

Our clinic will contact you if urgent follow-up is required. However, patients are encouraged to schedule a follow-up appointment to discuss results, next steps, or ongoing care plans.
